This part fits on 6" steel frames. It is used on both the top and bottom of the pool. This style of joint which utilizes a 5/8 inch rail (or track). It measures 4" 1/2" wide, 3" 1/8" deep and 5/8" tall. The replacement part may look slightly different than the stock image. UPDATE 2018 - the factory has discontinued this part, but has made a replacement in steel. If you order this part, you will be sent part 2161, which is designed to replace the 2167 and work the same. Be aware, that newer pools (2010 & newer) use resin joints. This steel joint is interchangeable with resin joint (part #2168 instead of the upper joint of the pool or part #2268 for the lower joint) if you wish. Resin joints have an advantage because they are corrosion resistant. Steel joints have an advantage because they can bend without cracking. |
