This is a lower joint. This means that this part is only intended to work if used at the bottom of the pool wall near the ground. This part fits on 10" frames. This is a new style of joint which accommodates an upgraded 1 inch rail (or track). It measures 10" wide by 4" 7/8" deep.
THIS PART ONLY WORKS WITH 1" RAILS (true width is 7/8"). If you buy this part, do NOT purchase 5/8" rails. If you are not certain, measure the rails on your pool. If they are 7/8", they are considered 1" rails. If this part is out of stock, you can purchase part number 2192, but you will need to purchase 5/8" rails to fit with part #2192.
This is a suitable replacement for part# 2191 because it will work with the same size rails....Keep in mind, this is only a suitable replacement for part# 2191 if it is intended to be used at the bottom of the pool. If you need upper joints, please use part# 2193 instead.
